Under New Management
Bill Aucoin, founder of Aucoin Management, passed away in 2010. His name is nearly synonymous with that of Kiss as he is credited for having discovered them. With his passing the name Aucoin Management fell out of the public eye. Damien Vivona, an avid Kiss fan who saved a Casablanca Records and Filmworks collection of marketing videos from the trash can and successfully created Inside the Casbah documentary, is planning on doing the same for Aucoin Management. Damien was involved with Bill when he gave Damien the honorary go ahead to use and own the trademark for Rock Steady Productions, a '70s iconic production company affiliated with Casablanca Records.
Damien Vivona is a 30-year veteran in the music business. He's had such successes with launching iconic labels and releases such as Casablanca Records, a tribute to Tupac Shakur, "Inside the Casbah" a history of Casablanca Record and Filmworks. He's also received a Gold Award from the recording industry Association of America for his involvement with a 1993 release of Kiss's full length album, Kiss Alive 3.
